The Climate Psychology Alliance is looking for a new communications co-ordinator

Do you feel as we do that the climate and ecological crisis is the defining social issue of our times? Would you like to bring your organising and relationship skills to support a charitable membership organisation working for a just future?

We invite you to consider being our next communications co-ordinator, organising events, membership and Board meetings in a self-organised and relationship-based working culture. Join us and be part of our work facing into the climate and ecological and justice crisis.

16 hours per week starting 4 September 2023 for six months in the first instance. £31,502-£37,386 pro-rata.

Holding the Hope – Reviving Psychological And Spiritual Agency In The Face Of Climate Change

Catastrophic climate change and the growing reality of the destruction of Earth’s ecosystem and species extinction hang over us all. These topics are increasingly coming up in the work of all talking therapy professionals – counsellors, psychotherapists, coaches and psychologists. They must be able to hold their clients’ and communities’ emotions and responses – fear, anger, denial, grief, helplessness and hopelessness – and manage their own.
