I have been providing pro bono sessions since 2019 for people suffering from climate/eco distress and for XR and JSO activists and other climate campaigners. I have completed the CPA Climate Aware Practitioner course with Psychology for a Safe Climate. My training as a body psychotherapist means I am on home ground with the expression of emotions. I am available to work face to face, on Zoom or by telephone or any mix of these. An initial short telephone call will be necessary before arranging sessions. Through CPA I have trained to run Climate Cafes and run several monthly in person on the South Coast for the general public, and also occasionally for an NGO, Bioregional. Within my local XR Regen group I have co-facilitated regular Active Listening Circles. I have also trained to facilitate and delivered both The Work that Reconnects and Carbon Conversations. Details of these and other CEE workshops I can offer to organisations face to face are available on request.
I was a partner practitioner for 37 years at The Open Centre in London, providing individual therapy, theme workshops and ongoing groups. I am now semi-retired and committed to providing psychological support for dealing with the Climate and Ecological Emergency.
